New items are covered against theft or damage for 180 days, up to $5,000 per event and $10,000 per account in 12 months. Lost items aren't covered.
Price Protection
If you find the same product advertised for less in the same country within 30 days, you can claim the difference. It must be above $25, up to $500 per item and $2,000 per account in 12 months.
Extended Warranty
Adds up to 1 year to manufacturer warranties of 3 months to 3 years, up to $5,000 per incident and $10,000 per year.
Car Rental Insurance
Covers rentals of up to 31 days worldwide, including collision damage and theft. Book and pay with your card, and decline the rental company's collision damage waiver.
How to Claim
Open a claim in the Visa Benefits Portal within 30 days of the incident. These benefits are provided by third parties under Visa's terms. They don't apply in Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, or Venezuela.
